Terms of Service

1. Using StudyArena

These Terms govern your use of the StudyArena website and study tools. “StudyArena,” “we,” and “us” refer to the service operating under the StudyArena name. By creating an account, you agree to these Terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information.

You must be legally able to enter this agreement and meet any age requirements that apply where you live. If you need a parent or guardian’s permission, obtain it before creating an account. If you use StudyArena for an organization, you must have authority to act for it.

2. Your account

Each account is personal to its registered user. Account sharing is prohibited on both Free and Pro plans. Do not let another person use your account or credentials, or lend, sell, rent, or transfer access to your account.

Provide accurate account information, keep your sign-in credentials private, and use an email address you can access. You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account. Notify support@studyarena.app if you suspect unauthorized access or need help correcting account information.

3. Educational use and AI limitations

StudyArena generates summaries, quizzes, flashcards, clinical practice cases, stories, and tutor responses to support learning. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, misleading, or out of date, even when it references an uploaded source. Verify important information against the original material and reliable references.

Clinical cases and medical content are educational exercises. StudyArena does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or a substitute for qualified professional judgment. Do not use generated material to make decisions about a real patient or other high-stakes matters.

You remain responsible for your academic work and for following your school’s, institution’s, or examination provider’s rules. StudyArena does not guarantee grades, exam results, or mastery of a subject.

4. Your content and permissions

You retain any rights you hold in the documents, prompts, and other material you submit. Upload only material you own or have permission to process with StudyArena and its service providers. A lecturer’s file, textbook, or other source can remain protected by copyright even if you can access it.

You grant StudyArena a limited, non-exclusive permission to host, copy, process, and transmit your submitted content as needed to operate the features you request, save your work, provide support, and display information through the visibility settings you choose. This includes sending relevant content to AI and infrastructure providers as described in the Privacy Policy.

AI output may resemble material generated for others. These Terms do not transfer third-party rights to you or guarantee that generated material is original or free of restrictions. Do not upload identifiable patient records, passwords, payment credentials, or other confidential personal information that you are not authorized to share.

5. Acceptable use

Abuse of StudyArena, its infrastructure, or other users is prohibited. Use the service lawfully and respect other users. You must not:

• Upload unlawful material, malware, or content that infringes another person’s rights.
• Harass, impersonate, threaten, or expose private information about another person.
• Access another person’s account or content without authorization, or probe and exploit security weaknesses.
• Share your account or sign-in credentials, or allow multiple people to use one account.
• Bypass upload limits, rate limits, plan controls, authentication, or code-redemption restrictions.
• Overload the service, misuse automated access, distribute access codes without permission, or use the platform to facilitate prohibited academic conduct.

Report suspected abuse, a security issue, or a rights complaint to support@studyarena.app. Include enough detail to identify the relevant content or issue.

6. Free and Pro access

The Free plan currently includes one study-pack upload per week. The allowance resets on Monday at midnight in Baghdad time (Sunday at 21:00 UTC). Pro removes that weekly upload cap. File-size limits, generation rate limits, service availability, and other operational limits still apply to both plans.

Pro can be granted through a confirmed purchase when checkout is available, manual approval, or an activation code. A manual request does not automatically grant access. Timed access ends at its recorded expiry; lifetime access has no scheduled expiry, but remains subject to these Terms and the continued availability of the service. Lifetime access does not guarantee that StudyArena will operate indefinitely.

Codes may have activation windows, redemption limits, and restrictions on reuse. A timed code extends existing unexpired timed Pro access; accounts that already have lifetime Pro access do not need a code. Codes are not cash or a promise of future paid features.

Changes to future offers do not remove rights you already have under applicable law or change the recorded duration of a confirmed purchase.

7. Payments and no-refunds policy

When enabled, Wayl hosts checkout for a one-time payment of 9,000 IQD for 30 days of Pro access. US$5.98 is displayed as a reference price; the charge is in IQD. Your bank or payment method may apply its own conversion or fees. Purchases do not renew automatically.

Access is added after StudyArena verifies a successful payment with Wayl. A purchase adds 30 days to remaining valid timed Pro access, or starts a new 30-day period when access is first granted. Closing the checkout page or returning to StudyArena does not by itself prove payment.

All purchases are final and non-refundable, except where a refund or other remedy is required by applicable law or payment-provider rules. This policy does not limit mandatory consumer rights. For a duplicate or incorrect charge, missing access after a charge, or another payment problem, contact support@studyarena.app with your order reference. Do not send card numbers or payment credentials.

Account-sharing and abuse rules apply to paid access. A payment does not lift an account suspension. Payment and access issues involving restricted accounts are reviewed by support subject to applicable law and payment-provider obligations.

8. Availability and changes

StudyArena may change, limit, or discontinue features, models, plan limits, and supported file types at any time, subject to applicable law. Maintenance, third-party outages, model availability, and technical failures may interrupt the service or cause a generation to fail. Keep your own copies of important source material; StudyArena is not a backup service. Where a change affects an existing commitment, applicable law and any terms agreed for that commitment still apply.

9. Ending or restricting access

You may stop using StudyArena at any time. To request account closure and deletion, email support@studyarena.app from your account address. Available in-app controls can remove individual study packs. Deletion and retention are described in our Privacy Policy.

StudyArena reserves the right, at its discretion, to restrict, suspend, or terminate any account at any time, subject to applicable law. This includes action for abuse, account sharing, violations of these Terms, security risks, or legal requirements. Suspension may be temporary or permanent and applies to both Free and Pro accounts.

We may act immediately without prior notice where necessary to protect users or the service, prevent abuse, or comply with law. Otherwise, we will provide any notice required by applicable law. If you believe a restriction is mistaken, contact support to request a review. Ending access does not remove obligations or rights that, by their nature, continue afterward.

10. Responsibility and legal rights

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided as available, without a guarantee of uninterrupted operation, suitability for a particular purpose, or the accuracy of AI output. You are responsible for checking generated content before relying on it.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, StudyArena is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service. Nothing in these Terms excludes responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded, or limits mandatory consumer protections and other legal rights.

If a provision cannot be enforced, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. These Terms do not require you to give up any court access, remedy, or protection that applicable law makes mandatory.

11. Changes, questions, and disputes

StudyArena may revise these Terms at any time, subject to applicable law. Revised Terms will be posted here with an updated date. We will provide notice of material changes and obtain any separate agreement required by applicable law. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms, except where a separate agreement is required. If you do not agree to a change, stop using the service and request account closure.
